The Eisenhower Apartment
The Eisenhower Apartment (completely self-contained and separate from the remainder of the Castle) operates as a small country house-style hotel. Guests access the accommodation using an original 1920’s elevator.
Comprising six bedrooms, the Eisenhower Apartment can accommodate up to twelve guests in comfort. The circular drawing room offers panoramic views over the Firth of Clyde towards the Island of Arran. The elegant private dining room serves the best of Scottish foods, including fruit and vegetables from Culzean’s Walled Garden, when in season.
The National Trust for Scotland, Culzean Castle, is pleased to offer accommodation in the Eisenhower Apartment during the week of the British Open Golf Championship. Tariff prices, listed below, are per room, per night, based on either double or single occupancy and include afternoon tea (served at 3.30pm), full Scottish breakfast and VAT @ 15%.
Helicopter access is available – although please note, advance notification of arrival(s) is required.
Culzean Castle is located less than 4 miles from Turnberry’s prestigious Ailsa Course, making it an ideal base from which to attend the 138th British Open Golf Championship.

The Brewhouse Flat
The Brewhouse Flat is part of what is now the Castle’s 'West Wing' and has its own private entrance with nearby parking. (There are approximately twenty steps leading down to the front door of this Flat).
Comprising two twin bedrooms, a sitting room, bathroom (with shower over bath) and fully equipped kitchen, the Brewhouse Flat sleeps four guests in comfort. The sitting room window looks out over the Firth of Clyde towards the Island of Arran providing somewhere to sit back, relax and enjoy the view.
Please note : Children will require supervision as there is no fence or barrier between the edge of the lawn and the cliff edge.

The Royal Artillery Cottage
This charming sandstone cottage has recently been refurbished and now provides excellent facilities for both the disabled and the able bodied alike. Situated within the Clocktower Courtyard, adjacent to the Castle, car parking is available just a few yards away.
Comprising two twin bedrooms, a sitting room and fully equipped kitchen, the Royal Artillery Cottage sleeps four guests in comfort and is a joy to stay in. The bathroom features a bath and a seperate wheel-chair accessible shower with seat.
With views over the Firth of Clyde towards the Island of Arran from every room, you can just sit back and enjoy the view for hours!
